The FRONT ENTRANCE HALL
The FRONT ENTRANCE HALL is decorated with skillful stucco moulding of different compositions.
Two-folding massive doors with metallic plates open the main entrance to the Hall.
The grand fireplace with the marquee-shaped top, high coupled columns and pilasters add to the solemn grandeur of the Hall.
In February 1945 the Front Entrance Hall was the place where paricipants of the Crimean Conference gathered together before the opening of plenary meetings.
THE WHITE HALL (THE GALA DINING-ROOM)
The White Hall is the largest and the grandest room of the palace (218 sq.meters). The cassioned ceiling and the upper part of the walls are decorated with exquisite stucco moulding, the ornament of which is a skillful combination of both floral and geometrical motif. On the raised frieze of the hall ornamented with stucco moulding are Emblems of the Russian gubernias (regions).
High arch-shaped windows and doors are letting a lot of day light come in. At nights the hall is lighted by 280 electric bulbs located on the protruded cornice which stretches along the whole perimeter of the hall. The lamps make The White Gala Hall of the Livadia Palace lighted completely.
